If you live in Dorset, are over 50 and want to engage in a healthier life style of the mind, body and spirit, then we want to help you. This could be through greater involvement in sport, culture and/or social encounter.  Phoenix also wants to celebrate your success, abilities and contribution to society.

The Phoenix Legacy is a community legacy the London 2012 Games. Our aims are to:

• promote existing achievers, activities and schemes in this age category to a wider audience in the County
• inspire more people to get engaged in sport, social and leisure activities, and thereby improve the health of the 50 plus
• create enjoyable and competitive activities
• increase business for local sports providers, societies, organisations and volunteers, who already provide support.
• establish better communication links between all the initiatives in the County for this age group and provide a one stop information point.

If you are over 50, you are eligible to free membership. To join, just email your details to rosie@training-for-results.co.uk. Through this website, we will keep you informed of what is going on. Why not get involved with the steering group and make this legacy truly yours.

Become a  Phoenix Provider

If you provide sports, art, culture or are an active group, organisation, coach, or society working with the over 50's, then please join the scheme. All you need do is email your details to rosie@training-for-results.co.uk. Phoenix can then provide free publicity for your services and/or events. The aim is to provide a one-stop shop for providing information of activities for the over 50's in the County. Why not come along to one of our events to see what we do?
