Revive ‘1,000 days to go’ celebration

All of the family is invited to join the Revive team at Osprey Quay for an evening of fun and celebration. In keeping with Halloween you are invited to don your spookiest attire, bring a lantern, and join them for a walk of terror!

Meeting at Portland Castle, Castle town, Portland at 6pm (the castle will be lit, so great for photos!), guests are invited to brave the spooky waterside walk, ending at The Boat that Rocks restaurant at Portland Marina. Here the fun really starts! Get your face painted, try your luck at some games, enjoy the live music from local bands and mingle with some of the Team GB heroes! Have yourself a hot dog from the BBQ and a glass of complimentary cider while the judging takes place for the best fancy dress and the best lantern. But don't miss the medal ceremony where the competition winners will step up onto the medal rostrum to receive their prizes.

Just before 2012 hrs (get it?) there will be a countdown to 2 minutes of noise - Portland go crazy! This will be followed by an awesome firework display from the water.

The evening of fun will continue with a street dance display and many more exciting surprises. So come along, and join the party. The event is completely FREE, suitable for all ages (it is not that scary) and is wheelchair & pushchair friendly.
