Calling all those involved in Carnival Clubs and Committees, festival organisers, youth and community leaders, artists and practitioners, Local Authority personnel and teachers interested in carnival engagement..........

Dorset County Council and partners are holding a special introductory planning event on Saturday 28 November to hear and share thoughts, capture ideas and make initial plans for the development of a possible Jurassic Coast extravaganza building to 2012. The project will encompass the Jurassic Coast area -East Devon, Dorset, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth.

You'll get some inspiring presentations from carnival makers and be able to network over a buffet lunch. There is a nominal attendance charge of £11.50 (including VAT) as a contribution towards catering costs.
